Women’s Roundtable – This is the opportunity that the chapter brings together local successful women business owners and other careers in a power round table environment. During this roundtable forum the women discuss issues facing the communities which we reside and work as well as provide solutions to these problems. The chapter also recognizes such women through its Top Hat Salute to Women of Achievement. Held annually during the month of March Women’s History Month, this awards tea features the Top Hatters for 2008 who will join the ranks of ladies from the inaugural Top Hatters of 2007. The Top Hat Salute to Women of Achievement Award recognizes women leaders who have made significant contributions in every field of human endeavor that embraces the precepts of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Supreme Service to All Mankind.
