Welcome to the virtual home of the historic Zeta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

I am honored and pleased to serve as the Centennial President of the Zeta Rho Omega Chapter, the oldest chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in Broward County. Since 1955 our chapter has been a dynamic force in this community. On behalf of the over 100 members, thank you for visiting our website and allowing us the opportunity to share with you our Extraordinary Service Programs.

We have looked forward to 2008 with great excitement and humility because this marks the 100th anniversary of our beloved sisterhood, the first Greek-lettered organization founded by and for women of color. Our Founders set a standard for us to follow and they challenged us to provide “Service to All Mankind”. In recognition of this historical milestone, the members of Zeta Rho Omega chapter are celebrating with “100 Ways to Celebrate 100 Years of Service”. Throughout the year we will align ourselves with our national program mandates as we partner with community organizations to provide Exemplary Strategic Programs that will impact all of Broward County.

We encourage you to use this website as a resource and guide to all of our wonderful service projects and distinguished accomplishments.

Our recently launched ESP Program(Ecomomics, Service, Partnerships) by the International President, Barbara McKinzie will serve as a roadmap for our chapter in further educating minority communities on ecomomic issues that impact their lives and will assist them in progressing to financial success.
